Studio Etiquette & Policies

At The Pilates Space, we are committed to creating a positive and welcoming environment for everyone. To ensure the best experience for all clients and instructors, please review our class time, parking, and courtesy policies.

1. Cancellation policy

• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled class. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the session, and class credit will be deducted from your account.

• Clients who accumulate 3 or more no-shows or late cancellations in a 30 day time period will be subject to the following:

-A $20 fee per incident as well a loss of class credit

-A credit card must be kept on file

-You will be unable to book or attend future classes until outstanding balance is settled.

Definitions: No-show: You do not attend your scheduled class. Late cancellation: You cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled class. Cancellations may be made directly through our app or our website.

  • We understand that life happens. However to maintain the flow of our waitlists and honor everyone’s time, these policies are necessary. This helps us open spots for other clients and keeps our community running smoothly.

2. Arriving on Time

• Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled class to allow time for prior class to depart, and allow for a smooth transition.

• Late arrivals can be disruptive, and for your safety, please to your best to arrive on time.

• If it’s your first time at the studio, we recommend arriving 5 minutes early to get acquainted with the space and equipment.

3. Parking Guidelines

• Parking is available on the street and in designated areas. During peak class times and summer months please allow for extra time to ensure a timely arrival. Stay up to date on our website and socials for any special events that may limit parking.

4. Studio Courtesy

• Please do not handle your phone while on the reformer to keep yourself and others safe. Silence your phones upon entering the studio to maintain a focused and relaxing atmosphere.

• Respect personal space and clean up your area after class, wiping down equipment and returning props to their designated spots.

  • Be kind and courteous.

5. Age Requirements

• All clients must be 18 years or older to attend group classes.

6. Health & Safety

• If you are feeling unwell, please refrain from attending class and notify the studio.

• Inform your instructor of any injuries or medical conditions before class.

  • If you are pregnant, please notify us prior to your first class. You are welcome to participate in group classes up until your third trimester. After this point in your pregnancy, we encourage you to continue your Pilates journey through private sessions. This helps ensure both your safety and the safety of your baby throughout your practice. We’re here to support you every step of the way!

    7. Membership & Packages

• All class packages and memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. All sales are final.

Class packages/credits do not expire.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a space that is welcoming and enjoyable for all. Thank you for being a valued part of The Pilates Space community!
